This little meeting was a great success! Many thanks to Mike Struk for his very interesting presentation about tuning of SAAB turbo engines!

We met outside the CERN Prevessin site at 16:00 and already here the discussions started! We were looking at Louis' very nice Intercooler installation and FPT conversion that he has done on his 1992 Classic 900S. He has also documented this work on another website.

In the conference room there were refreshments served, coffee, tea and some small snacks. The room was of course decorated with suitable flags.

The main happening of the day was Mikes excellent presentation about the different aspects to take into concideration when upgrading an already powerful SAAB turbo car. All the facts that Mike was presenting were backed up by calculations and an Excel spreadsheet. There's really no magic involved. Just mathemathics!

After the very nice presentation we all had a closer look at Mikes car to see in real life what these upgrades means in real life. And of course we also had some other nice SAABs to look at! :-)

After some more interesting discussions it was time for some food. This time the GASE group of people went to the "L'os a moelle" restaurant in St.Genis, France. Here the discussions continued for quite some time as usual and the food was nice as always.
